Halloween Spooky Tilda
For this card I used Spooky Tilda, Isnt she adorable? For those of you who know me, you know, I am REALLY NOT a Halloween person. So, all these Halloween Challenges really do challenge me. But, I LOVE how this card came out. I used the new Recollections Halloween paper stack, and I love the color combos.
Skin - E000, E00, R20
Hair - Y11, Y23, YR20, E33, E51
Dress - E40, E41, E43, G20, G21, G24
Shoes - W1, W3, W5
Broom - E33, E35, E25, E29
I used the sketch from Just Magnolia, which I totally loved. The layout made for such a pretty card.
I added some Recollections and prima flowers. The prima mini rose were white, and I glimmer misted then in Peach Delight and Raven to match the design paper. I distressed all edges to give an aged/distress look. I printed out the sentiment, "Too cute to spook" on my computer and added some bling to the tag. The BIG orange ribbon just ties the whole card together, dont you think?

Greeting Farm Birthday
This is a different type of card for me, and this was my first attempt at making a Step Card, and thought it turned out pretty cute. It was a little intimidating, but the template I used was actually easy to follow, and pretty easy once I got started. I used Miss Anya stamp set from The Greeting Farm for this card. I love the colors and everything about how this card came out.
I glimmer misted some white prima flowers in Cosmos and Sherbert to match the design paper. I then added some pink pearls to finish off the embellishmentsI used copics to color the Miss Anya gals.
I used the following colors:
Skin - E000, E00, R20

An Apple a Day.....
Here is another card to support Breast Cancer Awareness month. Again, I am really not a pink kinda person, so this was a challenge. I had to pull out ALL of my pink supplies from my stash in order to create this one.

Dress, Shoes, Hat, Bows - RV000, RV01, RV02

Hey Mr. Postman
Hey Mr. Postman, look and see, is there a letter ooohhh yay, in that bag for me......
I used Tilda in Windy Weather, from the Cozy Autumn Magnolia Collection. I LOVE her, isnt she adorable. I basically wanted the card to look like she had just landed at her tropical vacation, and now it was raining. I have been in her shoes before, landed in Mexico with my bathing suit in hand, ready for the beach, when a hurricane hit, and it rained our ENTIRE trip. It was the worst vacay I have EVER been on, but, I digress, back to the card. heheheSorry, now I have that song stuck in my head. Back to the cards, Bec, yes, I know.
Ok, so I made this card today for the challenge over at Magnolia Down Under. The theme this week is All Aboard - travel themed cards. This stumped me pretty much all week. I do not have any of the cute Magnolia traveling images or stamps, so I had to improvise, and this is what I came up with.
I colored her with my copics:
Skin - E000, E00, R20
Hair - E25, E27, E29
Dress and Hat - C1, C3, C5, C7, R39, R34, R31
Umbrella and gloves - R31, R34, R39
Shoes - W1, W3, W5, W7
I used Webster's Pages Seaside paper collection. I love how the luggage was on the design paper, it worked perfect for this card. I used a Crafty Secrets Stamp set I have to stamp the airplane in the distance, and the PostCard Sentiment.
I used a TON of sparkle on this card. I added stickles in Diamond to her dress ruffle, umbrella, hat bow, and belt. I also added some red mini roses from reccollections and a cream twisted rose from iamroses.com, which I also dusted with a bit of stickles yo give them sparkle. I used stickles on the luggage, because of course Tilda's baggage has to have bling!!!! Prima bling and pearls just finish off the sparkle and shine!

Greeting Farm Cards
I have been BUSY making cards this week!!!! I have been having so much fun, and loving every minute. Here is a card I made using a Greeting Farm Image from the Special Autumn set. Isnt she adorable? All ready for the cold winter breeze.
I used my Nesties lables die to cut her out, then I embossed the shape, and then sponge inked it with Pumice Stone Distress ink. I also used my new Tim Holtz Sizzix die, tag and labels, to die cut the sentiment frame out of chipboard. I then painted the frame plate with espresso Shimerz paint to match the coloring of the layout. I am using the sketch from Club Anya on the Greeting Farm blog for the layout of this card. I just love how simple it is, yet looks amazing!!! Love the clean lines.
I added some skittles, havnt used these on a project in FOREVER, so it was time I bust them out of my stash. I think they gave the card a perfect finishing touch.

Black, White, and Pink card!
Here is a card I made for Breast Cancer Awareness month. I thought I would use the color scheme of Black, White, and Pink. I love how it came out. I used Webster's Pages, Life's Portrait for this card, and love the simple, yet beautiful design of them.
I used the new image from Magnolia, Brother and Sister, for this card. I thought that they did not HAVE to be brother and sister, they could be hubby and wife, friends, etc. I love how close they are, and that big bear hug is so sweet. the sentiment I used is also new from magnolia images.I colored these cuties up with copics:
hair - YR20, Y11, E33, Y20, E29, E27, E25
Skin - E000, E00, R20, R02
Tilda's Dress and Socks - R000, R00, R02
Edwins Shirt and Overalls - C1, C3, C5, C7, W1, W3, W5
Shoes - W1, W3, W5
I used popdots to pop the image off of the card and make it stand up a bit. I think it makes the image more of a focal point when it is popped up! I added some pink ribbon for Breast Cancer Awareness month. I also added Black and pink roses from prima and www.iamroses.com. Then, of course, some vintage lace, prima bling, and pearls to finish it off.

Thank You Autumn Card
I made this card using my new fave Magnolia Stamp, Tilda in Fall Leaves. I LOVE this image, and think it is so stinkin cute. I love how this card came out, and it was such a joy to make.
I used the layout sketch from The sweet Stop for this card. I did flip the sketch a bit, as my image was long and covered the entire oval the other direction. SO, I changed it a bit to fit my image, but otherwise, it is the same skecth.
I added stickles to the leaves to give them some sparkle, shine, and pop. I LOVE how it turned out and added that little pop. The pictures don't show all of the sparkle very well, but this card REALLY shines! It is really pretty. I also added some prima pearls in dark brown to add even more sparkle.
I colored Tilda with my Copics:

I added faux stitching to the outsides of the cardstock for an added embellishment touch. I love how it came out. I used some fall patterned paper from my stash. I do not know the company, as it is from last year, and it was just stuff I had in my stash, but I totally love how it came together. Christmas card - Tilda and Presents
Another post for the day. I was busy creating this weekend, so I wanted to share all the things I have been working on. Here is a Christmas card I made using Waiting Tilda and the wrapped Presents from Magnolia. She is so stinkin cute!!!
Skin -E000, E00, R20
Hair - E51, E25, E29
Scarf, mittens, socks, bows - R29, R27, R24, E41

Shoes - E44, E41, E40
Presents - R27, G24, G21, G20, E33, E35,
I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday Challenges for the layout of this card. I adjusted a few of the details, but the basic layout is the same. I used popdots to pop tilda up off the page, so it looked like she was sitting on top of the presents. The patterned paper is Graphic 45 - Christmas past Deluxe. I LOVE the colors and design of this paper collection, it is absolutely gorgeous!
I used my new Tim Holtz Sizzix die for the name plate for the sentiment. I cut it out in medium chipboard and then painted it with Tarnished Brass Crackle paint to give it an antique look. I love how it turned out. I then added some prima poinsettia flowers and an ornament felt charm for the finishing touches. I hope you like it.

I used a sketch on Club Anya Blog for the layout of this card. I just love this sketch so much. I got to use lots of different elements for this card that I do not usually use, and I love the result. I used The Little Yellow Bicycle - Generation Z paper pack (never have used their products before, but LOVE them) that I received from Denice. I also used their coordination stickers as embellishments on this card. I usually don't use stickers at all, actually HATE them, but I LOVE them on this card. They added the perfect embellishment!!!

Tilda in Spring rain card
I know you are probably sick of me for today, but I have been creating away, and I wanted to share one last card with you all before I head off to bed. For this card I used Tilda in Spring Rain, which one of my favorite images. I know I say that about all the Magnolia images, but that is just cause they are so stinkin cute!!!!
Anyway. I am not going to blab on about this one. I used Webster's Pages as my patterned papers and matted them with a vanilla colored cardstock and base. I also used popdots to make Tilda pop a bit off the page.I used copics to color her:
hair - E53, Y21, Y11
Skin - E000, E00, R20
Umbrella and boots - RV95, RV93, RV91, BG13, C7, C5, C3
Coat - B21, B91, B60
I followed the sketch over at Magnolia Down Under Challenges for the layout of this card. I love how it turned out. I kept it pretty simple, as I really wanted the image to be the focal point. I hope you enjoy this card!
First Tilda Christmas Card
I have finally started on my Christmas cards for this year! I LOVE the new Magnolia stamps for Merry Christmas collection 2010. If you have not seen them, you should definitely check them out. I pretty much want all of them!!!!
However, for this card, I used Unwrapped Tilda, which is one of my faves. She is so versatile, you do not have to just use her for Christmas. She is beautiful for Birthday cards too, and really any occasion when gifts are involved!
Ok, now I am just rambling. On to the card....
I used the Graphic 45 Christmas Past Deluxe paper line for this card. I love the traditional Red and Green for Christmas papers, and Graphic 45 is my absolute FAVE, so I could not resist using it in this card. I stuck with the traditional red and green colors for the challenge over at Totally Tilda. I used a manilla colored cardstock as my matting, and love how it complimented the patterned paper.I used a sketch from Just Magnolia for their challenge this week, and just love this sketch. It is easy to incorporate this sketch into many different styles of cards. Thanks so much for a great challenge. I added some Faux stitching with a stamp I have from Crafty Secrets. I do not have a sewing machine, nor do I trust myself anywhere near sharp needles, so I have to fake it! LOL I stamped the stitching in Forest Green distress ink to match the patterned papers. This stitching falls into the challenge at Pixie Cottage for this week, which is stitching.
I used the following copics on Unwrapped Tilda:
