For my card today, I chose to use Blush Babette. Isnt she just adorable, so pretty with a touch of sass! I paired her up with some pretty Prima papers, just love the olive green and pink. I also used the sentiment, "Just Because" which comes with the stamp, such a deal and amazing set!
I colored Babette with copics.

I cut the image out with my beaded ovals nesties and added some cream Viva Decor Pearl Pen around the edges to look like pearls and make it stand out a bit more.
I added some Prima flowers to the card also. I used Vintage Pink and Cherub Pink Glimmer Mist to color the flowers. The leaves are from Reccollections and I sprayed them with Olive Vine Glimmer Mist. I also used some Prima flower center pieces in the middle of my flowers, such a nice soft touch.

Thanks so much for the awesome welcome as a new TGF Farmer this past week. From here you need to hop on over to the amazing Kim Yu, where she has something amazing for you!! I can't believe we're already through with our first week of previews and I'll be seeing you VERY soon around blog land. Good luck to all who enter and ENJOY the JULY RELEASE at The Greeting Farm!

Kneeling Tilda

I had such a blast creating this card, it literally came together so fast, as I was loving every single step so much. Dont you just love when that happens?? I definitely had my mojo going on this one!!! hehehe

I got a new paper pad, Prima Jack and Jill (which I LOVE, I know it is not NEW, but it is new to me!! LOVE it), and was totally inspired by the light green paper with daisies and ladybugs on it (I know it is probably hard to see in the pics, but I promise, that is the design. LOL). I wanted to use this new image, Kneeling Tilda, as I thought she was just adorable and matched perfectly to the paper design.

Let me tell you, it was BEYOND amazing, super generous, full of gorgeous flowers! I used a white Trellis Rose (which I won, and will definitely be buying more of, they are so gorgeous), two-toned pink 25mm roses, and light blue 15mm roses. I sprayed all the flowers with Diamond Dust Glimmer Mist to give them some shimmer, and then I added Star Dust stickles to the tops of all of the flowers to give them lots of sparkle and shine even more!
More of the light green design paper was used to punch the Monarch Butterfly with my Martha Stewart punch, and I also punch leaves with my Martha Stewart Fond punch with Kraft paper.
I finished off the inside of the card with more of that light green design paper and a cream silk rose.

My two little ones LOVE splashing in the pool, wearing goggles, their floaties, and swimming all day. It is one of our favorite summer activities. With that in mind, I created a fun card with one of the sentiments and Amelia dressed her little swim suit ready to jump in!

I tucked in a Magnolia Doohickey Swirl and a big orange half flower behind the image. I then layered a white prima flower on top with another gem to make it all pop!
SUMMER FUN will be released this FRIDAY, JULY 1st, during our "BLUSHIN' into SUMMERTIME" DT BLOG HOP/RELEASE PARTY, beginning at 12:01 am, CST...but you can WIN this adorable set today by 'swimmin' over to the TGF Blog to read how!

Guest Designer for Magnolia Mania - distress

This week at Magnolia Mania the theme is distress. I LOVE these Pink Paislee Butterfly Garden papers, and they are the perfect papers to distress, I think. The colors and patterns are just gorgeous.
I used my Distrezz-it-all machine on all the paper around the edges, LOVE that machine, makes distressing so easy! I also used VIntage Photo distress ink to distress it all even further. I added a paper doily, which was heavily distressed with distress ink so that it would stand out behind the image. I chose Tilda playing hopscotch for my image, she is just adorable. I love this new Sweet rainbow collection, each and every stamp is so adorable.
I kept the colors very soft to match the papers. I used copics and Prismacolor pencils to color Tilda

I finished off the inside of the card with more of the distressed design paper. I also added some vintage seam binding, which I sprayed with Cherub Pink Glimmer Mist to give it color, then distressed with Vintage Photo distress ink.
