Tilda with Lace Jeans

I cannot seem to keep my hands off this new Magnolia Butterfly Dreams collection. I just lve every single image, they are all unbelievably adorable!!!! I decided to color up Tilda with Lace Jeans. To be honest, I was not a HUGE fan of this stamp at first sight, then, once I colored her up, I think she is just adorable!!!!!
I used K&Company Julienne paper pack for this card. The colors are so luscious and pretty. Gotta love it. I finally broke down and ordered the circle sentiment stamps from Lili of the valley, Dreamy Days, and they just arrived the other day, so of course I had to use one on this card. I think they are so great for every occasion cards, what do you think?
I colored Tilda with copics and cut her out with Nesties Scalloped circle die.
Skin - E000, E00, E11, R32
hair - C9, C7, C5, C3
Shirt - E42, E41, E40
Overalls and Hair Bow- B97, B95, B91, B0000
Shoes- E25, E31, E50
Grass - G24, G20, YG63
I added some white floral lace and a light brown silk ribbon to the center of the layout. The flowers are all Wild Orchid Crafts. I used 25mm white roses which I sprayed with Creme de Chocolate Glimmer Mist, light blue cherry blossoms, and white 15mm roses which I sprayed with Wheatflieds Glimmer mist.

Midnight Madness DT- MMSC101

Its time for a new sketch challenge at Midnight Madness! Here it is...

"YOUR CHOICE"

Enter one style or both this week.

Just have fun and come play with us :)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Isnt it great??!!! It did, however, pose a bit of a challenge for me this week, but I think I made it work. I could not bear to cut up the gorgeous image I had to work with, so I kinda forgot about those two side boxes in the sketch and just made one large image box in the center. I know it is a bit off from the sketch, but I think it still works ok.
I got to use this gorgeous new image, Horse Head, from Priscilla Styles, our fearless leader. I love it, it is just such a beautiful image. I paired the image up with some of the gorgeous K&Company Julliene paper. I wanted to keep this card in neutral tones, and that paper stack has so many to choose from, it was hard to narrow it down!
I colored the image with copics. I used a TON of E tones, but I did not write them down as I was going along, sorry. I was very nervous coloring this, as I have a hard time with animals, ans usually am coloring people. I am very happy with how the coloring came out, eventhough it was outside of my happy little box! I love stepping out of my norm, and challenging myself with something totally different.
Here is the artsy view of my card. I used my Magnolia Doohickey Tilda Lace die for the border strips, and added some cream ribbon to the tops to set them off. I used some Prima Vintage blooms for the flowers, and prima brown pearl and rhinestone swirls which I cut apart and placed for the swirls.
I do hope that you will join us at Midnight Madness for this weeks sketch challenge.
I am so excited to be participating in the Magnolia-licious Christmas All Year Long Blog Hop which is hosted over at Magnolia-licious Christmas All Year Long. If you came here from Angélique's blog, then you are on the right track. If not, you can pop over to Magnolia-licious Christmas All Year Long to get started on the hop!
For my card, I chose to use this adorable image, Edwin and Tilda Dancing, which look to be in stock over at Magnolia-licious. I think this image is just adorable, so happy and festive.
I used some of my Webster's Pages Waiting for Santa Clause papers, they are so gorgeous, and have such wonderful colors. The only problem with webster's, is that it kills me when I have to cover up any of the gorgeous design!
I colored this image with copics. I used so many different colors, that i did not write them down, sorry guys!
Here is the artsy view of my card. I added lots of flowers from Wild Orchid. I used a cream Gardenia, white 25mm roses which I sprayed with Red Velvet Glimmer Mist, cream semi-open roses, and 15mm red roses.
The inside is finished simply with more of the design paper and some red ruffle ribbon.
Thank you for stopping by and joining us at the Magnolia-licious Christmas All Year Long Blog Hop. House of Gilli DT - Stripes and Bling & GDT Pile it On - More than one Bow
Happy Easter!!!!! I hope you are all having a great weekend with family and friends.
I have another card to share with you for two different challenges. This week at House of Gilli, we are challenging you to use stripes and bling on your project. Easy right? And, as my last week as a guest Designer at Pile It On, we are challenging you to use more than ribbon. This card came together perfectly for both challenges!!! Love when that happens!
Well, I had so much fun making this card for this week's challenges. I chose to go with some K&Company Julienne papers, so pretty. I paired the papers up with Fairy Gilli, whom just looks gorgeous is these dusty pinks, I think. When I heard the word BLING in the challenge, all I could think of was Fairy Gilli, too perfect!!! LOL.
I kept the card design pretty simple as I wanted to showcase the image and papers. I used some sage green ribbon to tie to large bows to either side of the card. I think it makes it look very feminine and pretty this way.
I colored Gilli with copics
Skin - E000, E00, R20, E11
Hair - E25, E31, E50
Dress and Wings - RV91, RV93, RV95, G24, G21, G20
I added Frosted Lace Stickles to the fur at the bottom of her dress to give more texture and interest.
Here is the artsy view of my card. I used lots of Recollection gem swirls for the BLING on the card. LOVE it!!
I hope you will join us this week at House of Gilli for our stripes and Bling challenge. Also, pop on over to Stamping Scrapping and pick up one of these adorable Gilli stamps for yourself, you will LOVE them, they are too cute and super versatile.
Spring Bunny
OMG, this Lili of the Valley image is just adorable!!! I thought I was done with Easter cards, but I saw this cutie image while cleaning up my scrap space, and I just HAD TO make another Easter card. Isnt is just adorable?!!!
The pic came out a bit dark, but this card is actually super soft and pretty spring colors, sorry about that. Anywho, I used Prima Analee paper pad for this card, love that stack, the colors are just delish! They were just perfect for this springy Easter card. I cut out a tag with the Magnolia Doohickey vintage tag die and stmaped the sentiment on it, then tucked it behind the image. I also tucked a paper doily behind that which I sprayed with my Lindy's Stamp Gang Ramblin Rose Moonshadow Mist. You can just barely see it peeking behind the tag.
This image colored up SOOOO fast, gotta love that. I colored him up with copics:
Bunny - C00, C1, R20, C9, B0000
Eggs - V12, V01, V00, BG72, BG10, Y15, Y11, B02, B0000, R20
Grass - G20, G24, YG63, YG03
I added lots os stickles to the eggs and bunny paws for some added sparkle and shine! Gotta love that bling.
I added a pretty sheer light pink ribbon with roses and pearls that I had in my stash, isnt it gorgeous??!!! I sinched it up so that it stood up in places on the card, makes it very dimensional. I also added lots of Wild Orchid Flowers to the card. I used 25mm white roses which I sprayed with Denim Glimmer Mist and 15mm hot pink roses. I added Platinum stickles to the top for added shimmer and shine. I then used my Martha Stewart Frond punch to add some leaves, and my Monarch punch for the butterflies. All were stickled within an inch of their lives! LOL
Happy Spring Birthday
One of my good friends is celebrating a birthday next week, so I wanted to make her a very special card. I wanted the colors to be bright and cheerful, to go along with this bright and cheerful image, Magnolia Happy Spring Tilda. I think she is just adorable, and love how she matched up with these papers from October Afternoon Thrift Shop.
I added lots of details to this layout sketch by Sketchy Colors. I added a paper doily that I found in my stash and tucked it behind the image. The ribbon is a red silk ribbon, and I used my Bow Easy to tie a simple bow, and added a gold/pearl button to the center. I used my Magnolia Happy Birthday stamp in the bottom corner, and added some white pearls to the corners for the finishing touch.
I stamped this cutie on Copic Xpress paper and colored her with copics.
Skin - E00, E000, E11, R32
Hair - E25, E31, E50
Dress - R29, R27, R24, R22, W5, B02, B01, B00, B0000
Socks - C00
Shoes - E43, E42, E41, E40
I used my Magnolia Shooting Star Border to stamp around the image panel with Antique Linen Distress ink, and further distressed the edges with my foam blending tool.
I used my Magnolia Doohickey Doily Flower die to punch out some flowers, which I layered a Graphic 45 metal flower in between, and put a gold/pearl button in the middle. I layered a feather behind the flower, and added a couple stick pins to finish it off. I also added a bunch of Wild Orchid Flowers and Tim Holtz embellies to the corner of my card. I used two 25mm white roses which I sprayed with Patina Glimmer Mist to match the design papers, red and white 15mm roses. I used some of my Tim Holtz Film Strip, and one of the typepad charms with an "H" for my friend's name.
I finished off the inside of the card very simply with some more of the design paper and a red silk ribbon and bow.
Tilda with Her Bunny
This card made Top 3 at Creative Inspirations!!!
I am in LOVE, actually more like obsessed, with the new Butterfly Dreams Collection from Magnolia. I LOVE every single stamp, and am slowly building up to owning all of them! LOL, I have a sick obsession, I know. LOL.
For this card, I wanted to use some of the gorgeous Basic Grey papers from the Curio collection. Aren't they just delish!
I followed the sketch from Saturday sketch this week, and think it just looks so pretty with these papers layered like this. I just love it, the colors are so rich and deep, just beautiful. I paired them up with Tilda with Her Bunny, which is such a great image. I think it can be used for more than just an easter stamp, very versatile.
I colored my image with copics
Skin - E000, E00, E11, R32
Hair - E29, E25, E31
Pants - E25, E29, E31, E50
Shirt - Y38, Y35, Y32, Y00
Shoes - E43, E42, E41, E40
Hat - E43, E42, E41, E40, Y35, Y38, Y32, Y00
Bunny - C00
I used lots of Wild Orchid flowers on this card. I used yellow 25mm roses, white 25mm rose which I sprayed with Olive Vine Glimmer Mist, Two- toned yellow/brown cherry blossoms, and yellow 15mm roses. I added some deep yellow satin ribbon and put a pearl brad through the center of the bow along with a dangling flower charm. I think these added to the vintage flair of the card.
I finished off the inside of the card with more of the gorgeous Curio papers and a yellow satin ribbon.
Tilda with hanging bunny
This is my last Easter card of this season! I have loved making them, but to be honest, I am not a pastel lover, and I feel like easter and pastel just go together, so I am ready to get AWAY from pastel colors and on to brighter, sunnier colors!
For this card, I used Prima Sweet Fairies paper stack. I wanted to stick with purple and yellow, and this was the only purple paper I could find, if you can believe that! I do love it though, guess I am gonna have to go stock up on purple papers. I teamed these lovelies up with a cutie image Tilda with hanging rabbit. Isnt she adorable, I just LOVE her!!!
I colored this cutie with copics
Skin - E000, E00, E11, R32
Hair - E35, YR23, Y23
Dress and boots - Y000, Y01, Y02, V12, V01, V00
Bunny - C00, C1, R20
I used my Gilli Flower border stamp to stamp around the edges, and then distressed it with Antique Linen distress ink.
I kept the deign pretty simple by adding some Wild Orchid Flowers (of course), white vintage lace, and a yellow satin ribbon. The sentiment I stamped on a Doohickey Vintage Tag die, and tucked in behind the image. I distressed the tag with Antique Linen distress ink to match the colors of the card.
The inside of the card was finished off with more of the design paper and another yellow satin ribbon.
I love how this card turned out. Although it is one of my more simple cards, I think that it turned out pretty darn cute!
I was so excited to use this awesome balloon image from Sugar Creek Hollow, and I knew exactly what papers I was going to choose, Webster's Pages.
