This card won Top 3 at Top Tuesday!!!
I LOVE spring time!!! Everything about it makes me smile, the warm weather, playing outside, staying light out til 7pm, Wearing flip flops, family outings, etc. So I wanted to make a super springy card. The best part of spring is all the pretty flowers. Tulips are my fave, so I used some of my newer stamps from Magnolia, Tilda with armful of Tulips and Wheelbarrow, as my image focal points.
I used some brightly colored design paper from Prima Mellody collection, I love the color combos in this pack and thought it was perfect for the look and feel I was trying to achieve.I colored this image with copics
Wheelbarrow -
C9, C7, C5, C3, E29, E27, E23, E50, G24, G21, G20, YR24, YR23, YR21
Tilda -
Skin - E000, E00, R32
Hair - E27, E31, E50
Dress - BV72, BV75, BV70, RV69, R39, R85, R32 ( A new color combo for me, but I LOVE how it turned out)
Apron - E40, E41, E42, E43
Shoes - E27, E31, E50
Tulips - YR24, YR23, YR21, G24, G20
I added some some Magnolia die cuts to the card as accent embellishments too. I used my Doohickey Heart Fence to add to the center panel, which I inked with Vintage Photo Distress ink. I also used my Doohickey Doily Flowers to punch out some flowers with maroon cardstock, then layered some Wild Orchid Flowers on top. I used white 25mm roses, which I painted with Patina and Lilly Pad Glimmer Mist, two-tone orange cherry blossoms, and two-tones 15mm lilac roses.
I finished off the inside with more of the design paper and a mint green silk bow.
