Enter one style or both this week.

Just have fun and come play with us :)

Isnt this week's sketch amazing??!!! This week I made a card following the sketch, and a matching altered tin. What do you think?
I used some Webster's Pages Seaside Retreat papers, love them for summer cards! I paired them up with one of LaLa Land's new images, Mermaid Marci. Isn't she adorable? I just absolutely LOVE her!!! Fo the tin, I used a Prima Flowers tin that was empty, and altered it with some of the design paper and another Mermaid Marci image and lace, just like the card.
I followed the sketch for my card, and I love the way it turned out. I added lace around my image as the base, then added lots of Petaloo flowers as my embellishments! LOVE the Color Me Mine collection, I used different mediums to color the flowers, and love the way they match the paper colors. I also got the opportunity to add this hand-made stick pin that a friend of mine made for me! I just LOVE it to pieces!!!!! It is one of Tim Holtz mini bottles filled with sand and shells and a starfish on the outside, hanging from a hand-made stick pin with shell beads! It is so amazing in person, just love it! (Thanks Cammi!!)
I colored my image with copics.

I finished off the inside of my card with more of the Webster's design paper and a turquoise silk bow. I used Petaloo Cantebury Vines from the Color Me Mine Collection, and colored with BG72 copic marker to make them turquoise to match the card colors. I cut them apart to add to my card, as they come in a big bunch, and I just wanted a few to look like coral. The green leaves are already a part of this set, and they work perfect for this sea scene. The flowers I used are the loose orchids, also from the Color Me Mine collection. I used my Lindy's Stamp Gang starburst stains in Honeysuckle Coral and Autumn Maple Crimson to color the flowers. The stains are just like paint dabbers, so they were perfect to color the flowers as I could dab them wherever I wanted the color.
I hope that you will join us this week for our sketch challenge at Midnight Madness.
I am entering this card into the following challenges:
