Isnt this sketch fantastic??!! This week were challenged to create a card and 3-D project. Our monthly sponsor, Petaloo, sent us these AMAZING flowers, so I had to create something delish with them! LOL The only thing that kept popping into my head was Cupcakes!!!! yummmooo.
I cut the triangle gift box out of the same design paper and cut it out on my cricut using Tags, Bags, Boxes, and More. I kept it simple, as I wanted to be able to put a surprise in the gift box for the lucky birthday girl! What's the surprise?, you ask??? Why, it is Cupcake cookies, of course! yummmmm
I wanted to showcase those gorgeous flowers on my card, so I kept it very simple with light brown silk bows.
I colored my image with copics.

These delish crochet flowers are from Petaloo's Color Me Crazy line. Arn't they fantastic??!!! These flowers are amazing, they are actually white to start, and come with the green crochet leaves, and pop adhesive in the back to be ready to mount on your cards. I painted my flowers with Vintage Pink and Sand Glimmer mists in order to get them to match the papers of this card. I then dried them with my heat gun, added the leaves to the arrangement. The pearl centers are just self-adhesive pearls that I added to the middle of the flowers. It was so super simple, and gives such an amazingly personal touch to the card.
