I love the sketch this week, isnt it great! This week I made a card and matching altered container.

This week I got to use an image from our weekly sponsor, D'Amour Allure.

Our MMSC112 Weekly Bonus Sponsor is...

This image is called Jenna, and I just love how dreamy she is all dressing in her nightgown looking up at the moon, just gorgeous. I paired her up with this amazing paper from K&Company Classic Paperpad. I love the vintage shabby look and feel of them, just gorgeous.
I colored this image with copics.
Skin - E000, E00, R20
Hair - E25, E31, E50
Nightgown - B99, B97, B95, B91, B0000, R87, R85, R81, RV10
Grass - G21, G24, YG03, YG63, G40
Moon - Y15, Y13, Y11, Y00
I used a dotty watercolor technique to give the look of the night sky. I used copics B91, B99, B97, B95, E50, Y15, RV10, W3, W5, B0000, W00

I added some flowers sent to me we with my image from our sponsor,
D'Amour Allure. All of the pink and white flowers were sent by the wonderful company, Arnt they so pretty? Thank you so much D'Amour Allure!!!
I also added in some Petaloo flowers, who is our monthly sponsor this month.

Our July Monthly sponsor is....

I used white violets from their Color Me Mine collection. They started out white, and I colored them with copics B97, B95, B91 to match the design colors. The violets also come with the green leaves, so I added one of those to the arrangement too.
On my altered container, I used a Petaloo branch and painted the flowers with Vintage Pink and Sand Glimmer Mists. I LOVE the way these flowers all look together, so pretty. Thank you so much Petaloo!!!!
I finished off the inside of my card as well with some more of the shabby design paper.
I hope you will join us this week at Midnight Madness for our weekly sketch challenge. I cant wait to see what you create.
I am entering this card into the following challenges:

  1. Jenna is just gorgeous, love your colors and your altered container!

  2. Wonderful cluster and coloring of the flowers. Congrats with your new DT. No wonder that you are choosen. LindaS/MMSC GDT

  3. These are both so beautiful! I love the crocheted lace around the top of the container. Both the Petaloo and the D'Amour Allure flowers are gorgeous. Great job coloring the Petaloo ones.
