This week at Basic Grey Challenges, we are challenging you to create something for Sizzling summer!!! WOW, it has been hot here this summer, so I wanted something that showcased that, and what better than The Greeting Farm Summer Fun Amelia! Isnt she adorable???
I paired up this cutie summer image with Basic Grey Offbeat papers, I just love the simple patterns and colors of this paper. Isnt it perfect for the summery feel!!!
I colored Amelia with copics.Skin - E21, E00, E000, R21, R30
Hair - E35, YR23, Y23
Bathing suit - Y15, Y11, Y00, YR23, YR21
I cut Amelia out using my Labels 10 Nesties. I colored the pearls with YR04 marker to match the colors of the card.
I added a Doohickey Tilda lace border below the yellow silk ribbon and bow for added interest. I also added some Wild Orchid Crafts flowers to the card. I used 25mm Orange and Yellow roses and 15mm light orange roses.
Here is a view of the inside of my card as it is finished off with more of the design paper and a yellow ribbon and bow.
