It's that time again, time for another sketch challenge at Midnight Madness. Isnt this sketch amazing??!! Here is my take on the sketch.
This week I got to work with one of our sponsor's images, Annabelle Stamps and I just love it. It reminds of those old war posters, very patriotic!
I used a combo of papers, Basic Grey and K&Company for this card. I kept this card pretty simple, as the image takes center stage for this one!
I colored up this baby with copics.

Here is the artsy view. I added some Prima flowers which I glimmer misted with Candy Apple red and Denim, then added rhinestones to the centers.

LaLa Land Challenge - Christmas Card

If you are looking for the Greeting Farm Blog Hop, Look down to the next post!!!!

It's a new challenge over at LaLa Land Crafts, and this week we were challenged to create a Christmas card or creation.
I used My Mind's Eye Holiday Lane papers, which I just absolutely love for Christmas cards. The patterns and colors are just perfect, and just my style too! I added a doily and red silk ribbon to top them off, and just love the way this came out. I paired the papers up with Sunny Christmas Marci, isnt she just adorable? I love this image, as it is not super cold here in the winter, so it is just perfect!
I colored Marci with copics.
Skin - E21, E00, E000, R20, R30
Hair - E44, E43, E42, E41
Dress - G16, G17, G20, R29, R27, R24, R22
Lightbulbs - W5, W3, W1, R27, YR14, G16, Y15, Y28
I added some of my favorite Wild Orchid flowers to the corner as embellishment. I used a large red wild rose, and two-toned red/white cherry blossoms.
I hope you will pop on over to LaLa Land Crafts and check out what my other teamies created. Then you can join us and create a Christmas card/project, cant wait to see what you create.

Say it with flowers - GDT Pixie Cottage

Say it with Flowers - GDT Pixie Cottage

I am a Guest Designer for the Pixie Cottage this week where the theme is Say it with Flowers! I love this theme, as I add flowers to everything, so this one was easy peasy!! I chose to work with the Pixie Cottage Rose Covered Trellis image this week, as I love all the flowers in this image, just gorgeous! I paired it up with the Magnolia Hello Little Butterfly, perfect pair!
I used Prima Sweet Fairy paper to match all the purple in my image, and I think it was the perfect match. I wanted the image to be the central thing on the card, so I kept the embellishment to a minimum.
I colored my image with copics. I used so many colors, and did not write them down as I went, sorry. :(
I added some Wild Orchid Crafts flowers to the upper corner, and a Martha Stewart Monarch Butterfly and some pearl swirls.
I hope you will join us at the Pixie Cottage for our Say it with Flowers and/or sketch challenge.
