DCD Christmas Club DT & Pile it On GDT

This week over at Die Cut Dreams, our challenge is to create a scene using a tilda stamp. PRETTY EASY, if you ask me. Also, I am pairing this card up with Pile it On, as I am Guest designing there is month, and the challenge is to Say it in Style. So, I chose to use the Winter Pond stamp with Tilda and Edwin Ice Skating, and I teamed it up with a winter circle sentiment which I added lots of bling to. So, two challenge cards, in one! :)

I used Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses paper pad. LOVE the soft wintery colors of this paper pad. The pinks and blues were perfect to match with Tilda and Edwin's clothes.
I colored this image with various copics. WAY too many to mention, as I used a TON to get the background to look the way I wanted. I added tons of stickles to the image also, for some added bling and sparkle.
The sentiment I used is from my DCD teamie, Lynn. Isnt it great? I added lots of stickles to that too, to go with the challenge at Pile it On. I love the way it looks with lots of sparkle.
Here is the artsy view of the card. I kept it pretty simple, as the image is the focal point, and there is not a ton of room left for added embellishment. I love these images together, and think that it looks better without a lot of added embellies.

Blue Tilda with Straw Hat

For some reason I am on a blue kick lately. I just LOVE my K&Company Julienne papers, and there is a ton of blue patterns in this stack, so that might be why. I used Tilda with Straw Hat from the new Butterfly Dreams collection, which I am just totally in LOVE with!!! I TRULY want EVERY SINGLE stamp in that collection, they are all so super adorable.

For this card I decided to make an easel card. I LOVE making them, they are super easy, and interactive for the recipient. I love these papers so much, and think they just go so perfectly together and coordinate for spring cards. Lots of flowers and pearls were added, which makes this card super feminine and pretty.
I used the Doohickey Doily Flowers die to punch out flowers from the design paper, then added some small 15mm Wild Orchid roses to the centers. I also added two 25mm roses. I glimmer misted the flowers with Vanilla Breeze Glimmer Mist to match the papers.

I used my Tim Holtz Swirl Stamp to stamp around the edges with Antique Linen Distress Ink and then distressed the edges.

The inside of the card Is finished with more of the pretty design paper, and a blue silk bow. I also used more of the Doohickey Doily flowers as the anchor for the Easel. There is lots of room for a personal sentiment to be added.

Here is my card for this weeks sketch challenge at Midnight Madness. I just LOVE this weeks sketch, so pretty with simple lines. I was SO excited to use this image by Wags and Wiskers, Angelica, from this week's sponsor, Stamp and Create.

I used K&Company Sweet Nectar paper for this card, as I wanted to keep the colors bright and cheery. I love the springy feel of these papers.
I colored up this pretty fairy with copics:

Here is the artsy view of my card. I added some Wild Orchid flowers as embellishment. I used white 25mm roses (which I painted with Scarlett Glimmer Mist), and pink cherry blossoms. The metal corners are Tim Holtz corner pieces. I love the look of the metal with these bright papers.
I finished off the inside of the card with more of the design paper and a red silk bow and ribbon.

I am completely and totally IN LOVE with the new Butterfly Dreams Collection from Magnolia. I adore each and every stamp, and want them all. Especially this little cutie, Hello Butterfly. I got this image from a friend, but think I love her so much I am gonna have to go out and buy the stamp. Isnt she just adorable???

For this card, I used October Afternoon Thrift Shop papers. I love the vintage colors and patterns of this paper, so pretty. I added Platinum stickles around all the edges of each panel for lots of sparkle and interest.

All the flowers on this card are Wild Orchid Crafts. I used a white Gardenia, which I airbrushed with B00 copic marker, then added Blue Rain Glimmer Mist, 25mm white roses painted with Scarlet Glimmer Mist, 15mm two tone blue roses, and 4mm yellow closed roses. I also added a red silk bow with a cream colored button in the center tied off with red floss. The sentiment is a Tim Holtz Adage Ticket, distressed with Vintage Photo and Platinum Stickles. The Butterflies were punched using my Martha Stewart Monarch punch and I also added Platinum Stickles and some rhinestone gems to those. The corners of the card were finished off with more rhinestone gems.
The inside of the card is finished with more of the patterned paper and more of the red silk ribbon. I left it blank so that a sentiment could be added later.

Together Forever

My brother and sister in-law are celebrating their one year weeding anniversary on Saturday, and I wanted to make them a special card to celebrate this wonderful occasion. I love this Lili of the Valley image, Together Forever, and thought it was the perfect choice for their anniversary card.

I used Prima Moulin Rouge paper stack, which has the most amazing papers in it. The colors are so rich and beautiful, just lovely. I paired this up with a cream silk ribbon and added a pearl button to the center. I wanted to keep this card soft and romantic.

I used Wild Orchid Crafts flowers. The large Gardenias I sprayed with Denim Glimmer Mist. Then I added a 25mm yellow roses, light blue cherry blossom, and 15mm yellow roses. I used lots of Prima Pearl swirls for the finishing touches.
The inside of the card is finished simply with more of the design paper and a matching cream colored silk ribbon.

Hope for Love

This card made Top 3 at Magnolia Stamp Lovers!!!!

A friend of mine is need of some support and Love, as she is going through a hard time right now, so I decided to make her this little card to brighten her day. I chose Tilda with a Heart, as I just love this stamp and wanted to show my friend that I love her and support her.

I used K&Company's gorgeous Julienne paper stack. I just love that they are making them in 6x6 now. This was a very different color combo than I usually use, but I loved working outside the box on this one, and the outcome is very pretty.
I colored Tilda with copics:

Dress - Y35, Y33, Y32, Y000, E25, E33, E50

Heart and Socks - Y11, Y13, Y15, Y000

Shoes - E25, E31, E50

I colored some white seam binding with Mustard Seed Glimmer Mist, and crinkled it up. I love the deep yellow of this color. I added a metal button to the center of the bow, and dangled a star charm using a vintage garment pin. The flower arrangement is all Wild Orchid Crafts flowers. I used white 25mm roses which I painted with Mustard Seed Glimmer Mist, brown cherry blossoms, yellow and brown 15mm roses. I also punched out some fronds with my Martha Stewart punch for the branches. I added a Tim Holtz charm that says "Hope", and some Tim Holtz Film Strip to finish off the arrangement. A Tim Holtz Metal Corner is added to the opposite corner also.
The inside of the card was finished off simply with more of the design paper. I also used some the dyed Seam binding to tie a bow around the middle.

DCD Christmas Club - DT -Fairy Merry Christmas

This week at Die Cut Dreams Christmas Club, we are having a "Fairy" Merry Christmas. The DT all got the honor of working with Prairy Fairy images this week, from our lovely teamie, Roberta. I just love this image, Sugar Plum Fairies. Isnt it just adorable?

I used some of my Basic Grey Jovial paper for this card, I am IN LOVE with this paper collection. The colors and patterns are so gorgeous, it is hard to cover any of it up! LOL.

I stickled up this image within an inch of it's life! LOL. It is SUPER sparkly and shiny IRL!

I cut the image out with my Lacey Circles Nestie die and wove cream colored ribbon around the edges, and finished it off with a bow on top.
I added some large prima flowers, with mini rose bud centers. I also added some vintage lace that I recycled off of some packages.
