Edward card

Here is a card I made with a couple challenges in mind. I used Edward from The Greeting Farm, he is one of my all time faves!!!!

I used the sketch from Totally Gorjuss this week. I totally loved how it came out. I used the ultimate "guy" paper, Graphic 45, A Proper Gentleman, for the patterned paper for this card.
I used jute twine as my ribbon to keep this card more masculine in nature. I added some black buttons and an adage ticket as finishing accent embellishments, and whaaalaaaa, card was finished. I totally love the outcome.

DCD Christmas Club - DT - Christmas Crackers

This is my first card for my Design Team position at Die Cut Dreams Christmas Club!!!!! This weeks theme is Christmas Crackers. WOW, this was a REALLY hard theme for me. Before this challenge, I had not even heard of christmas Crackers, and had no idea what they were. After some searching on the internet, I found out.

I decided to make a shape card, and made up my own template using an image I found on the internet. I just basically drew the template on the back side of my paper, measured til I got it right, then cut. I looked at lots of Christmas Crackers on the internet before I cut!!! LOL

I used Jolly Tilda, from the 2009 So Jolly Collection from Magnolia, for this card. I just love her, she is so cute with all her gifts!!!
I colored Tilda with copics:

I added some candy cane embellishments from Jolee's, which I think went perfectly! I also some pointsetia flowers from Prima.
I hope you enjoy this card. It was very far out of my comfort zone, and not what I am used to doing, but I really like how it came out.

White Christmas

Here is my All White Christmas card. I created this white card for the Simon Says Challenge this week, Are you all White. I have never made a card in one color, and actually love how it came out.

I followed the sketch from the Pixie Cottage for the layout of this card. I dry embossed the two circle matting. I used my Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder and my Damask Tim Holtz embossing folders. I also embossed the Nestie Label behind Tilda with my Tim Holtz French Script stamp and clear embossing powder.
I used copics to color this little Cutie, Tilda singing Carols.

I added Flower soft polar White to her coat fur to give it some dimension and sparkle. I LOVE how it came out. So cute and fluffy. I also added some stickles to her wings, tights, and music notes. This little girl really SHINES
I used some white flowers from Color Me Crazy, and added some silver BLING to the centers to finish the look. I also added some bling corners to the corners of the card, and a big white bow to finish it off.

Thank you Tilda card

I made this Thank you card using Secretive Tilda, isnt she a doll? A friend of mine sent me this image, and I think she might be one of my new faves!!!! I think I might be ordering her for myself today!!! shhhhhh LOL

I chose to stick with some Autumn colors of brown and orange. I love the color combo, and think these design papers are delish. :)
The challenge at Cute Card Thursday this week is to use vellum or tissue paper, so I chose to use tissue paper to make an embellishment. I made this large Orange flower out of tissue paper. I glimmer misted white tissue paper with Oriental Poppy Glimmer Mist. I then dried with my heat gun til it started to crinkle up a bit. Then I used my Tim Holtz Tattered Florals die and cut the flower layers (about 10 pieces of tissue paper). I then stacked then up, put a brad through the middle, and scrunched it up til I liked the result. I think it turned out pretty cute!!! I also used some prima flowers, glimmer misted in Chocolate Covered Cherries, and some iamroses.com mini roses. I added some gold beads to the center of the Prima Flowers for some added pop!
I cut these cute corner brackets with my cricut, Storybook cartridge. I then added stickles to them to give them some added sparkle and shine!!!! I also added stickles to the rose bunch to give that added pop!

Greeting Farm Get Well

Here is a card I made using the Greeting farm image, DeeDee. Isnt she so cute!!!! I just LOVE her.

made this into a Get Well card, as I just loved the color combo and thought it was so bright and cheery. I followed the sketch, Jen's sturday Sketch, on ClubAnya. I thought it turned out so super cute!

I LOVE the pink and brown combo, gives it such a warm and cozy feel. This is one of my fave color combos, and this paper worked out perfect!!

The patterned paper is so pretty, I did not have to do much. There is glitter in the design of the paper, so pretty!!!! I added some stickles to the border at the border to give it even more sparkle and shine.

Lili of the Valley Christmas Card

Here is a Christmas Card I made using this cute Lili of the Valley Bear stamp. I absolutely think he is such a doll. This made for the perfect winter scene, and cute Christmas card.I followed the sketch by Bev on Lili of the Valley's Challenge blog for this week. I LOVE the details. I got to break out my Tim Holtz Ornamental Die to cut the border trim. I LOVE when I get to bring a little Timmy into my projects! I used my cricut to cut the small circle for the sentiment, as well as the border matting.
I added lots of pretty Prima flowers to the card as accents. I used some frosted blue Primas, a large white sugar coated white rose, a smaller white rose, and two small white roses that I glimmer misted in Silver Sugar. I also added a thin white satin ribbon to follow the sketch. I then added some blue bling to the center of the flowers, and some blue skittles to the corners of the matting paper for added embellishment and bling!
I used Bazzil cardstock and Graphic 45 Christmas Past deluxe patterned paper as the paper for this card. The card base is a sparkly silver cardstock from my stash.
I added Polar White flower soft to the snowflakes in the image, I think it turned out really cute, this pic does not really do it justice. It is super fluffy and shiny, and looks like real snow, super cute!

Unwrapped Tilda Birthday card

Here is a birthday card I made using Unwrapped Tilda. Although this is a Christmas Magnolia Stamp, it can be used for many occasions that include presents, as she is so stinkin cute!!!!!

I used Kraft Cardstock as my base, and Webster's Pages, Life's Portrait, cardstock as my patterned paper. I love this paper. It gives such a Shabby Chic look, and I love that vintage feel. The challenge this week at Simon Says Stamp and Show was Shabby, and I think this paper is PERFECT!!!
I added roses from http://www.iamroses.com to this card as my embellishment. I just LOVE them, they are so pretty. I glimmer misted the pink ones with Vintage Pink, and the cream ones with Wheatfields to give them that added zip! I also added lots of vintage lace and a cream colored ribbon to give that shabby chic look.
