Here is my card using this weeks sketch. Isnt the sketch so great??!!!! I used my K&Company Jubilee Paper pad, this is one of my faves, as the colors are so bright and beautiful!!! I just love it.
I used Tilda with Three flowers for this weeks card. I just LOVE her, and think she is absolutely precious!!! I cut the scalloped circle frame out with my cricut, and then mounted some vintage cream colored lace behind the oval.I colored Tilda with copics
Skin - E000, E00, R20
Hair - E51, E25, E29, E57
Dress, Hat, and socks - R83, R85, R87, R01, BG75, BG78
Shoes - E41, E40, E43, E45
Tulips - G20, G21, G24, V00, V04, V06
Shadow - W1, W3, W5, B0000
I finished off the inside of the card with more of the patterned paper and a silk bow. I used some cream colored cardstock to leave a nice spot for a sentiment and personal note! I am loving my New Years resolution, which was to finish off the inside of my cards. Now they are completely finished off and ready to mailed out for occasions. LOVE that.
I added a floral arrangement, of course!, instead of the buttons like the sketch suggests. I am not a big button person, and lets face it, it just would'nt be one of my cards with lots of flowers! hehe. So, I used some two toned blue roses, and pink cherry blossoms, then added some mini white roses to finish off the arrangement. A cream colored silk ribbon, vintage cream colored lace, and some gems finish off the details of the card.
I hope you will join us at Midnight Madness this week, it is a really fun sketch!!!
