Old Time Love

Here is my newest card using Tilda with Tag. I just LOVE her, and think she is so versatile. Here I made another Valentine's card, using my Graphic 45 Springtime paper. I LOVE this paper. The muted colors and just gorgeous!!! I distressed all the paper edges with my distress tool, and even ripped some of the edges and stapled them down. I adhered some of the other design paper behind the ripped parts to bring in even more of the pink design.
I chose to stick with the pink and cream color scheme throughout the card. I used my Lindy's Stamp Gang Starburst Stain in Wild Honeysuckle Coral for a lot of the coloring of items to match the colors of this card. I LOVE this product!!!! It matches this paper perfect, and adds tons of sparkle to the items. I used it to color the ribbon, which was originally white, and the roses, which were also white. The pictures do not do this card justice, as the colors show a bit more muted in the photos.

I colored this cutie with copics -
Skin - E00, E000, R20
Hair - E25, E31, E50
Dress and Bow - R0000, R000, R01
Socks and Tag - E40, E41, E42
I added LOTS of little touches to this card as embellishments. The corners were cut on my cricut from the Storybook cartridge. I cut them with kraft cardstock, then covered them with Pink stickles. The heart is a piece of grungeboard that I coated with Antique Linen Crackle paint, then distressed with Walnut Stain distress ink, then topped it off with Glimmer Glam in Tutu Pink for added sparkle. I used a Tim Holtz Adage Ticket for the sentiment, which is popped into a Memo Pin and stick into the floral arrangement. I distressed the ticket with Victorian Velvet and Walnut Stain distress ink. I added Stardust Stickles to pretty much everything in this card, it is super sparkly.
The inside of the card I added some more of the design paper. I used a $1 stamp I got from Michaels, and some more Grungeboard hearts, which I dabbed with my coral Starburst Stain and covered with pink stickles. Then I cut the sentiment area out with my nesties.

Tilda with Tag Thanks You

This card made top 5 at Magnolia Down Under!!!!

My newest creation!! Here is a Thank you card I created using Tilda with Tag from the Valentine's release last year. This is an image I received from a friend of mine, and this is definitely a stamp I am going to HAVE to purchase, isnt she a doll? Plus, she can be used for so many occasions.
I used my new Basic Grey jovial card kit for this project. I do not have the paper pack, but I won the card kit from 7 Kids College Fund, adn thought I could use the pre-cut cards, and use it for my design paper, and it worked out great! I LOVE this paper, the colors are so rich and just gorgeous. It is not your typical Christmas paper, so it can be used for many occasions too! I added a red ribbon and bow, then put a white button in the center tied off with some red thread.
I added some prima flowers to the corner of the card that I painted with Cherry Glimmer mist. I also threw in one of my Tim Holtz journaling tags to the corner for an added touch. I hardly ever think to throw these in but what a great finishing touch it made to the corner bouquet.
My new years resolution was to finish off the inside of all of cards as I make them. I have been keeping it so far. Here is the simple inside of my card. I left room for a nice personal sentiment. this really shows off the design paper too, isnt it so pretty.
I colored this cutie with copics.
Skin - E000, E00, R20
Hair - E51, E25, E57, E59
Dress and socks - R20, R24, R27, R29, W1, W3
Tag - E40, E41, E42, E43, R27, R29
Shading - W1, W3, W5, B000

I also distressed the background Tilda is on with Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain Distress ink. I stamped my Tim Holtz splatter stamp on the edges for some added interest. I LOVE this technique, it just adds that something special!!!
