I was so excited to use this awesome balloon image from Sugar Creek Hollow, and I knew exactly what papers I was going to choose, Webster's Pages.
I thought the balloon looked a little like a vintage air balloon, so I wanted to showcase that by using the vintage Webster's Pages papers. I love the way it came out!I colored the balloon with copics:
R29, R27, R24, R22, Y28, Y26, Y24, Y21, BG75, BG72, BG70, E57, E35, E31, E50, B0000
I added a red ruffle ribbon and some cream silk bows to the edge of the image. I also used some of my Wild Orchid Crafts roses which I glimmer misted with Scarlet, and used my BG72 and my Copic Airbrush to spray the smaller roses to match. The sentiment is a Tim Holtz Adage Ticket, which I distressed and used Vintage Photo Distress ink. The butterfly I punched out with my Martha Stewart Monarch punch and some of the design paper.
I hope you will join us this week at Midnight Madness for our challenge this week. I cant wait to see how you interpret our 100th sketch!!
