Build a One-sie (Girl)

Hey, everyone! I'm back and excited to bring you the next preview from our October Release atThe Greeting Farm! After the popularity of our Anya and Ian "wardrobe" sets a few years ago where you could build your own outfits, we've decided to give the wee-ones a turn to be fashionable and introduce you to "BUILD A ONESIE: girl!" This sweet set of cute couture will be available in CLEAR polymer when it's released on October 1st!

There are TONS of possibilities with this set! Here's what I came up with, for starters:
I love how cute this set is. I do not have any little girls in my family, but my sister-in-law is pregnant, and we are crossing our fingers that it might be a girl. I love this stamp set, as you can mix-and-match the logos on the onsie to any that fir your needs, just great!
I colored up my onsie simply with copics. I also added one of the other design stamps around the border of the image panel, and stamped it with Victorian Velvet distress inks. I love how this adds to the card.
Be sure to visit the TGF BLOG today to see how you can WIN a set of your own today! Thanks again for stopping by and see you soon! In the meantime, be sure to check out the TGF BLOG every day to stay tuned into our week-long October preview week!

Throwback Thursday with Cheeky Rockabilly

Hi Gang! It's me, Farmer Becca, here with this week's Throwback Thursday. This week I have chosen my all time favorite line, Cheeky Cherry stamps, and have chosen to showcase Cheeky Rockabilly. I just love how sassy these stamps are, especially this one! Isnt she adorable?!?
I love breaking out older stamps and giving them some new love, as our newest stamps always get our love, but the older ones sometimes get neglected. So, I love this cutie image, and wanted to see how she looked in this ultra-girlie papers and theme. I wanted to keep this card very girlie, so I used some Vintage Flowery paper and added lots of flowers as embellishments. I love making shabby feminine cards, and this image is perfect for that touch of sass!
I hope you will join me this week and dust off some of your older The Greeting Farm images and give them some inky love!

LaLa Land Challenge - Embossing

Its time for another challenge at LaLa Land Crafts, and this week the challenge is embossing. I am really not an embosser, so this challenge is always a hard topic for me. But, I pulled out my embossing folders and got to work with this card.
I used some K&Company papers from their Julienne collection, which I just adore. I used my Cuttlebug Swiss Dots Embossing folder for the white panel behind the image, and serves as my embossing for the challenge requirements. The colors are just gorgeous of this paper, and it broke my heart to cover any of it up! I paired them up with Roller Skate Marci, whom is adorable!
I colored Marci up with copics.
Skin - E21, E00, E0000, R20, R30
Hair - E25, E31

Creatalicious DT - Anything goes

This month at Creatalicious our theme is Anything Goes. I love these themes, as it is so much fun to just see where your creativity takes you. I made an early Halloween card for this month, as October is quickly approaching (isn't this year flying by???). I used this adorable new digi from the Greeting Farm, Cheeky kitty, Isn't she just adorable???
I used some of my old Halloween papers in my stash by Recollections. I think they are last years papers, or the years before. I am really not that into Halloween, so I do not have a lot to choose from, but wanted to use this adorable image as a Halloween card for a friend for this year. I think they are perfect.
I colored this cutie with copics.
Skin - E21, E00, E000, R20
Hair - E35, YR23, Y23
Cat Suit - W5, W3, W1, W00
I added some Wild Orchid Crafts flowers to my card. I used a large white trellis rose, which I sprayed with Raven Glimmer Mist to make it the black/dark purple color (love this color for Halloween cards). I also used white 15mm roses, which I sprayed with key lime pie glimmer mist to match the card color. I then added some Martha Stewart frond punches as the leaves.
I finished off the inside panel with more of the design paper and a lovely lime green ribbon and bow.
I hope you join us at Creatalicious for our Anything Goes challenge.

Its time for a new challenge at Simon Says and this week our challenge is A Song or Movie title as your inspiration. I chose to work with this adorable new image, Dancing Queen, which was my Song Inspiration for this challenge.

Hair - E25, E31, E50
Dress - C1, C00, R85, R87, R81
Shoes - C5, C3, C1
I finished off the inside of the card with more of the design paper. I love the soft girlie colors of this paper, and could not bare to waste any of it, so I added it to the inside panel, and finished it off with a pink silk ribbon.

LaLa Land Challenge - Use a Doily

This week at LaLa Land Crafts, we were challenged to use a doily. This is not really a challenge for me, as I love using doilies on my cards, such a great feminine touch. Here is my take for this week's challenge:
I used this gorgeous Bo Bunny paper, which I love the shabby chic feel of it. I did not want to cover it up too much, so I kept the embellies to a minimum. I added the doily behind the image, which I love to do, to just see a bit of it peeking out, so feminine. I picked Fancy Marci to use this week, as I love her and think she is just such a little lady, which was perfect for this shabby chic card.
I colored Marci with copics.
Skin - E21, E00, E000, R20, R30
Hair - E25, E31, E50
Dress - R02, R00, R0000, E44, E43, E42, E41
Shoes - E44, E43, E42, E40
I added some pretty Prima layered flowers with pearls. They are so delicate, such a great touch. I also thought a Tim Holtz Adage ticket was perfect for a sentiment, I distressed it a bit too.
I hope you will pop over to LaLa Land Crafts to see what my other teamies have come up with, as they are amazing!

LaLa Land Challenge - Anything but a card.

This week at La La Land Crafts, we were challenges to create something other than a card. These challenges are always so much fun, as it forces me to think outside the box and create something new. This week I decided to create a tag. This tag is something near and dear to my heart, I created a tag for 9/11.
My brother is a fireman, and this image, Fireman Luka, is one of my faves. I wanted to make something special in remembrance of the tenth anniversary of September 11, so this little tag was perfect. I cannot believe it has been 10 years already, but we will never forget how we felt that day our country was attacked. Luckily, I feel like we have become a stronger nation. My heart goes out to the families who lost a loved one, and especially to the families of the brave firemen, as that is so close to my heart. We will never forget you all!!!
I colored this cutie with copics.
Skin - E21, E00, E000, R02
Hair - E27, E23, E21
Hat - R29, R27, R24, R22
Overalls - Y15, Y13, Y02
I sprayed the tag with Red Velvet and Denim Glimmer Mist, then used one of my Tim Holtz flame stamps to stamp the background images. I also distressed the edges with Chipped Sapphire Distress ink. The stars are grungeboard which I painted with white dabber paint and added Rock Candy crackle paint to the top. I printed the sentiment from my computer, and then distressed it with Chipped Sapphire Distress ink.
I hope you will pop over to LaLa Land Crafts and see the other amazing projects my teamies came up with, I am sure you will be inspired.
I am entering this project into the following challenges:
PIle it on - B is for... Boy
Charisma - Anything Goes
Addicted to stamps - Anything but a card
Stamptacular Sunday - The Sky's the Limit
